Laptop Cover Art

Dungeons & Dragons Laptop: "

danddlaptop.jpg

We're not quite sure what the point of having a Dungeons & Dragons laptop is, considering that if you're the type of person who might want one, you're also most likely to be the type that never leaves their mom's basement. Oh but wait, through the magic of portable computing and WiFi, you can count your pieces of electrum while sitting on the toilet. We understand now.

If you want one, you'd better hurry as they're only available in a limited edition of 100, as an Atari UK promotion for Dungeons and Dragons Online: Stormreach. Prices start at £999 for what's actually a Pegasus 650 gaming notebook, you can customize it up to a single-core 2.26GHz Pentium M, 2 GB of DDR 2 SDRAM and a 120 GB hard drive, and your choice of either an ATI Mobility Radeon X700 or a Nvidia GeForce Go 6600 graphics card.

The iPod World

Apple recently announced its results for the past quarter. And while the results were lower than analysts expected, these still look like mighty fine numbers to me. One amazing item : Apple shipped 8,5 million iPods in its last quarter, bringing the total number sold to over 50 million.

Yes, 50 MILLION...

That, in itself, is a staggering amount, but Apple did that in less than 5 years. This article gives more insight into what that means in the grand scheme of those things...

This kind of success always breeds imitators, or even counterfeiters.

There are also thousands of accessories available for the iPods : from protective cases (ranging from very fluffy to very high-tech carbon), to earphones, to docking solutions (like the iBikeMount), to software, to portable or not-so-portable speaker systems. Even Apple developed its own solution there : the iPod Hifi. But this next one must be the ultimate combination of listening to your tunes while working... Isn't it Mother's Day soon?

If you have ever downloaded songs from the iTunes Music Store, here are two cool features that you might enjoy using: "Commercial Success" and "As Heard On". Read here for more details...

Who says IT Engineers are all boring nerds?

Meet the IT Gigolo:

IT Gigolo: ‘Yeah. Most of the calls I get are for spyware removal and viruses. One girl didn’t even wait for me to finish the virus scan—she just grabbed me and gave me a blow job.’
